Mental Health and wellness Fund
The Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund is dedicated to enhancing the mental health and wellbeing of individuals and families in our community. We recognize that mental health is a fundamental aspect of overall wellbeing, and we aim to support initiatives that promote resilience, connection, and access to essential resources in the Bow Valley.
A Grassroot Approach
The Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund is dedicated to improving the mental health and wellbeing of individuals and families in our community.
We recognize that mental health is vital to our region's overall wellness, and we aim to support initiatives that promote resilience, encourage connections, and improve access to care and community resources. By prioritizing mental health, our community fosters a sense of togetherness.

While broader events and systems influence mental health, specific factors such as community remoteness, tourism, cost of living, and climate change uniquely shape mental health challenges in our families, workplaces, and social networks. The good news is that these community-level factors also create the conditions for developing adaptive responses and tailored solutions for the Bow Valley. Many small programs are needed, so BCF is starting a new 3-year grant program in early 2025 to support community-driven grassroots initiatives.
